9 years ago, founder Van Brooks, woke up in a hospital bed paralyzed from the neck down unable to talk, eat, and breath on his own. He was later told that he would never move again and that he would depend on others for the rest of his life. Van however defied those odds. Since that devastating day, Van graduated from Loyola Blakefield and later Towson University, he drives, is fully independent, and can now stand and walk a little on his own with the help of the walker!
