The SAFE Learning Pod provides 20 middle-school students with the opportunity to attend the SAFE Center weekly to attend their virtual classes in a conducive and clean learning environment. To help ensure students safety and good health, the students were divided into two groups of 10 that operate on an A and B day schedule.
At the Learning Pod, students have beneficial social interactions that work to improve their social and collaboration skills, daily access to tutors, and they are taken on field trips to connect their school lessons to the real-world. Currently, SAFE is one of a few programs in our community that are providing this opportunity. The Learning Pod helps the students, the families, and the community as a whole.
