SAFE Mentor
Description: SAFE’s mission is to inform students about the importance of obtaining an education as well as having an alternate career plan in anticipation for life's deviations. The students we serve are in middle school and are at the point in their life in which they can put themselves on a path to both academic and life success. For this reason, having the right assistance in this period of their lives is incredibly beneficial. As a volunteer mentor you have the opportunity to have a helpful direct influence on our students. The volunteer will empower our students to make the right decisions in life that enable them to maximize their success, serve as tutors in various subjects, and assist in developing and executing programs for our students.
When: Our mentor needs are immediate

Individual or Group Opportunity: Individual
Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Time Commitment: 1-2 Hours weekly
Videographer
Description: The youth in West Baltimore are intelligent and kind individuals yet they remain underserved. At SAFE, we serve them because they deserve it! We provide these children with experiences vastly different than what they would receive outside of our foundation. These experiences assist in development and work to fuel the drive of our youth. The volunteer provides professional quality videos that are engaging and entertaining. The videos are to convey SAFE’s work, mission and it’s students experiences and successes to assist in the growth of SAFE!
When: Our videographer needs are on a rolling basis. Ideally we would like to capture our students' experiences during the academc year, summer camp, and student highlights for graduating 8th graders.

Graphic Designer
Description: The SAFE Center, aims to steadily increase the amount of youth we serve. The volunteer designs content for marketing, branding, and all social media platforms including our website. Additionally, the volunteer will conceptualize, design, and create mockups from small enhancements to entirely new designs. The volunteer creates beautiful and impactful designs because the work will lead to an increase in the awareness of the SAFE Center and offerings.
When: Our graphic designer needs are on a rolling basis

Fundraising Committee
Description: Fundraising is much more than raising money. At SAFE, it is about community engagement, community benefit, and informing communities on the impact of SAFE. The volunteer will work with a team to provide input into development of the annual campaign, including direct mail, personal solicitation, and events fundraising (including annual conference, private events, silent auction, etc.) Additionally, the team will engage in the execution of all aspects of the annual fundraising campaign, including marketing efforts, personal solicitation, and the acknowledgement process.
When: Our fundraising needs are immediate and continuous
